Locksmiths and garage door companies · $499 one time

Get through Google Ads Advanced Verification and get your ads running.

Google won't run search ads for locksmith or garage door services in the US until the business passes Advanced Verification, and there's no grace period. We prepare your application and documents, get you ready for the video interview and handle appeals, for a flat $499. Then, if you want, we run the ads.

What's included

What we handle.

The application

Google's form asks for your Ads customer ID, business type and model, registration, license details, ownership and storefronts. Mismatches between your license, state registration and the name on your ads are a common reason for rejection, so we check them before anything is sent.

Documents

Your state business registration, a fictitious name (DBA) certificate if you trade under a different name, and your license where your state or county requires one. We tell you exactly what to gather.

The video interview

Google interviews you by video and expects you at your business location, or with your work vehicle nearby if you operate from one, with your business documents on hand. We walk you through what to have ready.

Account review

Google also reviews the Ads account itself. We clean up anything that could cause trouble: ad wording, landing pages and business details that don't match.

Rejections and appeals

If you've already been rejected, we find out why and file the appeal with what was missing. We also handle ads that stay disapproved after you're verified.

Then, the ads

Once you're verified we can build and run your Google Ads, with call tracking so you can see which searches turn into jobs.

How it works

Good fit

For locksmith and garage door businesses in the US.

Advanced Verification applies to locksmith services in the US and Canada and garage door services in the US. It's separate from Local Services Ads, which has its own screening. We don't promise approval: Google makes the call, and businesses that don't meet its rules won't pass. We make sure a good business isn't rejected over paperwork.

Questions

Common questions about Advanced Verification.

Who needs Google Ads Advanced Verification?
Advertisers promoting locksmith services in the US or Canada, or garage door services in the US. Ads in these categories can't run until the business is verified.
Is this the same as Local Services Ads verification?
No. Advanced Verification is for regular Google Ads. Local Services Ads has its own sign-up and screening, including background checks, licenses and insurance.
What documents does Google ask for?
A state-issued business registration is required. You also need a fictitious name registration if you operate under a different name, and your license details if you hold one. Google may ask for more during review.
How long does it take?
It varies, and Google doesn't publish a fixed timeline. Plan on several weeks, longer if you need to appeal. Getting the documents right the first time is the best way to keep it short.
I was rejected. Can I appeal?
Yes. Google's Advanced Verification form has an appeal option. An appeal works best when it fixes the specific reason you were rejected, so we start by finding that.
How much does it cost?
$499, one time. That covers the application, documents, interview prep and one appeal if Google rejects you. If you then hire us to run your Google Ads, the $499 is credited toward management.
