Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition on International Drive is one of the most searched attractions in Orlando that isn't a theme park. It's a museum with actors: you walk through the ship's story with real artifacts and full-size room recreations, guided by people playing actual passengers and crew.

Here's what's inside, how long it takes and whether it's worth it.

What's inside

  • More than 350 real artifacts and pieces of memorabilia from the ship and its passengers.
  • 17 galleries that follow Titanic from construction to the sinking and the recovery dives.
  • Full-size recreations, including the Grand Staircase and a first-class stateroom.
  • Costumed actors playing real passengers and crew, who stay in character and tell their stories as you go.

How long does it take?

Most visits take one to two hours. Last entry is one hour before closing, so don't show up late in the day expecting to see it all.

Hours and tickets

The exhibition opens at 10 AM. Closing times differ by day and season, and sellers list different hours, so check the day you're going before you leave the hotel.

Tickets are timed general admission. Souvenir photos cost extra.

Is it worth it?

Yes, if you like history, have kids around 8 and up, or need an indoor plan for a hot or rainy afternoon. The actors make it much more engaging than a regular museum.

Skip it if you have toddlers or you're short on time and would rather do something active. It's a slow, read-the-placards kind of visit.

Tips

  • Go early in the day for smaller groups in the galleries.
  • Children must be with an adult.
  • Pair it with I-Drive. It's at 7324 International Drive, a short drive from ICON Park, WonderWorks and the Chocolate Kingdom factory tour.
  • Rainy day? It's fully indoors, and so is most of International Drive.
